Meet Missy and Larry.
I have known Missy for about 7 (I think) years now. When she called me to chat about me capturing her wedding day, I was elated! She had said such wonderful things about Larry and how kind, sentimental, and loving he is, I just couldn’t wait to capture her joy in person and to meet the man who stole her heart!
Missy and Larry were just planning to go to the courthouse to get married. However, her sweet friends wanted to celebrate them and worked so hard to decorate this amazing backyard for them to have a ceremony.
Missy is a beautiful person inside and out. She’s kindhearted, hilarious, strong, and just altogether awesome, so for her to be so captivated with Larry, I knew he had to be pretty awesome, too. He even surprised Missy with her gorgeous wedding dress just days before the ceremony. How thoughtful is that!
When Larry arrived, I walked up to him and said, “Hey Larry! I’m Mae, your photographer, and I just wanted to introduce myself!” I held out my hand to shake his. He grabbed it and said, “You know what Mae, we’re going to hug.” And I thought…yes, this is truly the kind heart Missy deserves!! Anyone who knows her can attest that it’s a blessing just to know her kind heart and sweet personality, but to be able to capture her and her new husband in absolute bliss on their wedding day, that was such a blessing for me!
