I love my job. Seriously, I have the best job in the world.
I say it all the time. I love that I get to photograph beautiful families and weddings and couples and meet such fun people. Over the holiday season, I tend to photograph mainly families. While I love families and precious kids, there is still a special place in my heart for engagements and weddings. Engagement photography is probably my absolute favorite thing to do! I LOVE photographing couples in love. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. As much as I enjoyed photographing such wonderful families, this couple was so refreshing to photograph!
Meet Jake and Meghan.
These two met in college. Jake is now in the Marine Corps. They will be married next year, and Meghan will be such a beautiful bride! Though it doesn’t look like it, it really is December in Florida! This weather is just divine.
These photos were taken at the stunning Fort Pickens in Pensacola, Florida.
I just love the pretty old walls at Fort Pickens.
Check out that gorgeous ring! Jake picked it out…with a little help from Meghan. 😉
I just love the way he looks at her. This is one of the reasons I love photographing couples in love. I get to capture these precious looks they give each other.
Let me remind you again–it’s December!! She’s wearing a sundress in December. I love Florida.
Their height difference was the cutest thing. I love how much taller he is!
We had so much fun on this shoot. This couple is so sweet together.
We enjoyed the sun and the nice white sand that Pensacola is known for.
They stood in cold water (oh, the things we’ll do for great photos!)…
They laughed together!
And then the sun began to set….
Magic happens when the sun sets in Florida.
Pensacola really does have some incredible sunsets.
I so enjoyed spending the afternoon with Jake and Meghan. I hope you were able to enjoy the gorgeous scenery and feel the love they have for each other through these photos. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
