Meet David and Mackenzi.

These two sweethearts met in high school. They actually chose this specific location because it was where David asked Mackenzi to be his girlfriend way back then. I had a great time photographing their love for each other. It’s no secret how happy they are together! It was a beautiful sunny day with a delightful breeze.

You never know what you’re getting yourself into when you agree to a new location you’ve never been.  When I arrived, I saw a basketball court, a playground, and a plethora of children. To be honest, I was a little bit nervous. I got out of my car to scope the place out and ended up finding these gorgeous little areas tucked away in the corners. Needless to say, I’m thrilled that they chose such a gorgeous, sentimental place.

David did a great job picking out this stunning ring! (All by himself!)

Mackenzi’s bracelet was handmade by her mom. She’s also wearing her mom’s class ring. I love special sentiments like this!

Even though it was really bright out and there wasn’t a lot of shade, we made the most of what we had. I love the color of the sunlight just before sunset.

Something about it is just so romantic.

The beauty of this gorgeous area blew me away.

I’ve never seen a more beautiful little stream going into the ocean, like this one. I love how sweet these two are together, especially since I didn’t direct them during this segment of our shoot. They were just so precious, so I stepped back and captured this sweet moment.
