Meet Wesley & Brooke.

These sweethearts are two of the coolest people I know. Wesley is a pretty killer guitar player, and Brooke is studying in Auburn to be a pharmacist. I met them both when I lived in Pensacola, Florida. The couple planned a weekend trip to Georgia, where Wesley had arranged the sweetest date day for Brooke. First, they went on a bike ride around Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, then they had lunch and took a walk through Piedmont Park. This is when I was trying to be as inconspicuous as possible, so she wouldn’t see me, as there was nowhere for me to hide. I ended up getting pretty close to the action and hiding behind an awesome couple who shielded me from Brooke’s vision. Wesley wrote a letter to read to her. It was all about how he loves her and different important dates throughout their relationship, ending with a page that read:

“May 5, 2018

The day I ask. Will you marry me?”

He hands the letter to Brooke for her to read, as he gets down on one knee. Can we all take a moment to appreciate how romantic and smooth that was? Totally taken by surprise and joy, she said yes!
