Meet Lou and Lizzy.
Lou and Lizzy are a precious couple. They had known each other for exactly one year when they got married! You hear stories about people who meet each other and “just know” but that’s pretty much how it was with these two. Their love for each other and for God was so evident, and it was a true pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful joining of families.
I have to say this was one of the most unique wedding locations I’ve ever captured. Lou and Lizzy have friends who own and manage a horse riding academy in Emerson, Georgia called the Blue Skies Riding Academy, where they have horseback riding lessons, summer camps, and more! I can attest firsthand that the staff is pretty awesome, as they all came together to get this horse arena set up for this beautiful wedding. There was a ton of hard work and sacrifice involved, and it turned out amazing! Most of the details were DIY, which I LOVE! I love things that have a personal touch, and I especially love it when friends and family come together to create something wonderful! This beautiful day was a prime example of that. They had a pizza truck, yard games, coloring pages for kids, s’ mores, a bonfire, hot chocolate, dancing, a tractor, various animals (including a pig, pictured below), and lots and lots of love.
